School Field Trips
Iowa Lakeside Lab provides many opportunities for experiential learning during the school season. Our field trips are offered August - May and can cover a variety of topics such as animal adaptations, ecosystem services, water quality, outdoor recreation any many more! These experiences are available at no cost to school districts and homeschool co-ops. We align our curriculum with NGSS and Iowa Core standards and would love to work with teachers to host a field trip for your group! Summer Camps
Do you know a child who loves to explore the outdoors? Sign them up for a summer camp at Iowa Lakeside Lab! We offer many summer camps for students entering PreK (4-year-olds) through 9th grade. Summer camp registration opens February 1st at 10am each year, please register early to ensure a spot in our camps!



School Year Camps
Iowa Lakeside Lab offers No School camps for students on no-school days. Camps are offered for elementary and middle school students during both fall and spring semesters. Camps run from 9am - 3pm, cost $20/camper and include lunch and two snacks! Use the link at the top of this page to register. Homeschool Explore Camps

Leader-in-Training Program
Are you a high school student who enjoys working with younger children, loves the outdoors and would like to give back to your community? The Leader-in-Training (LIT) program may be the perfect fit for you! LITs will assist camp staff in providing a safe, caring and exciting experience for campers. This program provides opportunities for students to increase their leadership skills by sharing their passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for the natural world!

Financial Assistance
Iowa Lakeside Lab strives to provide experiential learning opportunities to any interested child, regardless of financial situations. If you would like to apply for one of our scholarships to attend a camp, please click here for the application.
