If you are interested in becoming a CLAMP volunteer, please email Ashley Scheve, Education Coordinator, at ashley-scheve@uiowa.edu.
Bumble Bee Atlas Training
Join us June 26 - 28 for a free training with the Iowa Bumble Bee Atlas! Participants will learn how to safely capture, identify, and release bumble bees while contributing to an important citizen science project that monitors Iowa’s native pollinators.
The training includes indoor identification sessions and hands-on outdoor field experiences, where you'll learn how to conduct your own surveys and work toward full certification. Meals are provided and housing is available.
Leader-in-Training Program
Are you a high school student who enjoys working with younger children, loves the outdoors and would like to give back to your community? The Leader-in-Training (LIT) program may be the perfect fit for you! LITs will assist camp staff in providing a safe, caring and exciting experience for campers. This program provides opportunities for students to increase their leadership skills by sharing their passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for the natural world!
